I have just spent an hour searching for this modification and I am completely googled out. I am looking for a metal Viper fuel door to go on my Torch Red C5. Can anyone help me or have any of you seen then on one before I would like to see it before I actually put it on. I

I had one of these on my '69 T-top back in the '70's. The cap location was on the rear deck back then and it almost looked like it belonged there. I personally think that the aftermarket gas cap like that doesn't look that good on a C5, mainly due to the style of the C5 and the lines of the body where the cap is mounted. But as always, it is your car and if it works for you then you should do it. I have a friend that has a couple of Mustangs, he has the same style aftermarket gas cap on both of them, he likes them and that is all that matters. Good luck!!
Sorry, gotta agree with others that those caps looked completely contrived on a C5.
They made the car with very smooth lines and curved surfaces. The cap simply doesn't fit the car IMHO. On the other hand, to each his own. If you want it, go for it!

Thanks for all the replies guys and for helping me find the part. I have given it some thought and agree with it being an interruption with the lines of the C5's and will not be put this on my car. Thanks again!
