after reading every post on here i've came to a couple of conclusions. one is that some resent the lambo owners because of supposed "cockiness." second, people have a mutual understandment for likes and dislikes on the other car aka having repsect for it for what it is. lastly, other people on here are nutswingers. yes, it would be nice to own a lambo but i wouldn't. i'd much rather have my z than it. major reason is maintenance and second reason is that it is a hell of a lot easier and cheaper to pull hp and tq out of the lsx based engines than that v12. i get 20 grand and i'm gonna have a 510ci lsx block w/ 7.5:1 compression on pump gas at 850 hp on the street. nutswingers generally wish they always had something bigger and badder as in what other people have.

then people need to stop comparing a vette to a lambo, specially a murcielago...
we all know with the right amount of $$$ you can have one bad-*** vette, built for serious hp, but in the end the car is nowhere near lambo-level build quality, it's just something else, not saying a lambo would never break, but there's a reason why the car is a few hundred thousand dollars right?
no matter what, the vette will always remain as the best bang for the $$$ to hang with the big exotics...

i've ran one or two. never new that that they were awd until the murciellago launched on me and i didn't have my drag radials. caught him in mid range and then had my *** handed to me around 90mph.

I own a C5 ZO6, a Ferrari TR and a Lamborghini Diablo. Someone asked me the other day if I could only have one car for the rest of my life which of the three would it be, I answered.................the C5 ZO6, for reasons already explained in this thread.

hopefully the guy shows up, if not my friends dad's work has one that they let some of their employees use for two weeks every year. I think he has it so Ill see if he would be willing to bring it there

How about if you owned an F430 and a Gallardo? Would you still pick the C5Z06 over them?
