How much are they lighter than stock?
No they are pretty secure. Look at the directions. I can't answer the weight question yet.
i agree with the price problem. Way too freakin expensive. i thought aca's were too expensive for a light change. I would only pay 500 max and that was only if i decided to not just make my own kit for even less than that!!

Negative comments don't help anything. Either you are down or not. If you are not move on. If you have interest ask questions etc.
Hmmm...I may have made a realistic comment, but I don't see a negative one....trust my advice, my friend, I did this stuff for a living for 33 years for one of the big 3 auto companies....this is a safety/driveability component, and it needs to meet existing standards for product reliability and safety reasons. Like I said, bet of luck bringing this to market.
Could you find out what the price would be if I picked them up personally???
PS: This is a public forum, which you made a thread in...everyone is allowed to post here, ESPECIALLY if they have valid arguments/opinions for once!! You can't make someone "move on." MY .02 cents.

You can't. I'm the vendor here for them.
I'm not discussing that other topic anymore. Back to the topic of the thread please.

way way WAYYYYY too much money for low end hella optics. For that kind of money, even considering the cost of importing, you should be offering something along the lines of the Lexus LS projector.
I agree; given the amount of labour to perform this install I would not pay more than $500
I like the look and recognize that the stock lights suck, but I still wouldn't pay that much for them. I'd also like to know the price if I picked them up in Germany myself.
I love the system, I love the 'partly popped up' look too.
The price would look better if the C6 didn't already have HIDs, meaning newer models could also benefit. For a car that has already depreciated so much (heck, my 99 with 30k miles is now worth about as much as a new Cobalt) the price is too high.
But, the bigger problem is GM missed this one. The updates to the C5 as production went on were lacking, projector headlamps should have been introduced somewhere along the way. Maybe with the 2001 updates?
Interesting, they look nice...except for the "Im only half open" look. Makes it look like a tired C5. JMHO
Actually I like the 'hooded-eyes' look. Yeah the price seems a bit high, but, from what you say, the quality is there. I'm definately on the very interested list. Appreciate your efforts.
