I tried heat application on our Trailblazer and it didn't work well...left residual residue.
There are vendors (CF and EBAY) that sell various vinyl appliques that go over the oem stickers...

A hairdryer should loosen up the adhesive and then you can slowly pull it off.

I posted my "cheapest mod" a few months ago on this very item.
You just start getting one corner loose with your fingernail and when you have enough loose, grab it and pull. No residual, no damage to the fabric on the sunvisor.

Not sure if this will work on the windshield , but i had a jetski and removed my stickers with a rubber wheel attached to a drill. i purchased this wheel at Napa for about $30
