Top Stolen Today
I'm really po'd and have to vent a bit. Someone, obviously another C5 owner, stole my $145.00 Carbrella Sport Top in broad daylight. I live in Central FL and use this a lot but some a****hole decided he needed it more than I did. I work at Home Depot and park diagonally (2 spaces) at the end of the lot but apparently this A-Hole has no shame and ripped me off. Not only am I out the $145 but now I have to figure out a way to secure the next one I get. Anyone have any ideas?

I just do not understand the thief mentality!!! When I grew up and was taught the simple philosophy,,If it's not yours don't touch it without permission!! Would be a much simpler world if every one learned that!!
I spent a few years as a local LEO,,and the amazing thing is how the local sh@t bums jump up and down and throw a hissie fit when somebody rips them off!!Sometimes it was hard to keep a straight face and be serious taking the report!! You kinda wanted to say well now YOU know how it feels!!

Parking diagonally in 2 spaces may have had something to do with it. Some people take a dim view of taking 2 spaces no matter how far away you park.

I would be watchful of nearby buildings trash bins and similar areas, I doubt someone took it to sell or use just an easy mischievous act. Good luck

I would guess that it WASN'T a fellow vette owner. People don't steel your stereo because they have a vette that needs one, they just want to sell it. Sorry to hear about the theft. I thought of getting one but figured it would get stolen at school. Too bad bc it would be nice to have here in Daytona.
