Roof Panel
Just purchased an '02 coupe in Florida with the 'transparent roof panel' option.
Pretty neat, but on direct sunlight it can get be little more sun than I want, so----do I live with it, which I probably can or has anyone added another layer of 'tint' to the panel.
Comments, pros and cons. please.

I have heard that there are static clinge tints that you can apply to it. But I have a painted top not the glass one.

I also live in Florida with an '02 Coupe with glass top. I ended up buying a solid top and painting it color of car. Much, much better.

I use one that has suction cups for the summer, very effective.

That's what I was going to say, I've seen those but don't know how well they work. Anyone have these to comment.

Corvette Central has 2 kinds. The one with headliner fabric...
Or the static cling film. Sunliner roof panel die-cut matrix film reduces glare, heat, and UV rays to help keep interior cooler and last longer. Retains the see-through feature of your roof panel.
Shown gray for photographic purposes.

This is what I have been using for the past year, and it works GREAT!

Or if you can run into a good deal on a used one the color of your car, it would be a good buy.
