My Mallett wheels are in need of some refinishing, and I took them off last week to start looking for someone to rechrome them. I put a set of black C6 Motorsports on while I sent the Malletts off, but now I'm starting to think that I may have them powdercoated black.
Can't stand black wheels. Total waste imho.
Most cars had them as oem equipment when I was young, just pop off the hubcaps on dads car and you had black wheels
Ive seen the wagon wheels painted black on here before. I think it looks pretty good. I like the black wheels on vettes because you don't see too many, at least in person or driving around town. There are a ton on here. I have black on black with the polished lip look and I love it on my vette. Do what makes you happy. I like the wagon wheels painted but make sure before you go through all the trouble that the wheels are in good shape and such. Older OEM C5 wheels can start to crack and then you will need new wheels anyway.
