Hated them for the longest time, then came around. Still I think its pertinent to each vehicle on its own merit.

There has been quite a few threads on this recently.

it definately relates to the body color. i think yellow is the
best candidate for black wheels, but red, black , and blue
ain't bad either. actually i think the black on black is pretty sharp. the thing is i can't afford the wheels i want right now but my wife can't seem to clean wheels (and its her dd) so the brake dust just makes them dirty anyway.

I've never liked the look of black rims, but in your case they might add some contrast.

Default you asked for my "opinion"

All Black only works on Black cars IMO and not with Wagon Wheels. They would have to be all Black C5 Z06 Rims only. Silver or Chrome wheels look best on a Silver car. I think Wagon Wheels look best in Silver. Tnargs suggestion is a good idea and goes very well on a Silver C5. All Black on a Silver car looks dirty and reminds me of an old car with stolen hubcaps and takes away from the looks of a C5. CCW Classics with a Black center would be another wheel that would go well on a Silver C5. These are only opinions and not meant to offend anyone.

I used to not like black wheels a long time ago, but I LOVE them now. I have a silver car and the black wheels go along with the black lights, tinted windows, black stripes, etc.

My personal opinion is that black wheels look like to much brake dust. It's the owners car to do with as the owner pleases.

Mine have a machined face, so they aren't all black. I like black wheels. If you tought chrome was a PITA to clean, once you get these black ones you will find out they are harder to keep clean than chrome wheels are.

I like them, I have a triple black 02 Vert that I am contemplating buying black wheels for. I like the polished or chrome rim type just to break it up a bit. I would also like all black with a red pinstripe around the lip. All black looks nice too IMHO.

I have a NBM FRC, (sounds like some federal agency) I run black thin spokes in the winter. I like the look but not all the time. I painted left side wheels gloss black, the right a dark gunmetal gray color, drove the car that way for the winter no one noticed. I think I like the dark gray color best. I run chrome motorsports in the summer, makes big diff in the look of the car.
