Default Dead steady idle

Turn the A/C on and it gets almost non-noticeable.A/C off she gets the slightest roughness.Nothing bad or troublesome but I've certainly felt smoother.

Otherwise, she runs/revs perfect.

I keep reading this is semi normal or should I chase down the issue.I hate fixing stuff that isn't broken.Always ends up being a great way to break stuff or cause problems.

Call me crazy but personallly I like the slightly rough idle. Most V8 cars I've owned had a rougher idle than my C5.

I have previously wiped the TB down while on the car and I was almost ready to take it off and give it a good cleaning...I might do it anyways.

I had an occasional miss during idle conditons..very sporadic and only at idle. That turned out to be a plug wire that managed to walk itself halfway off the coil pack.Soon as I puled the FRC's off it was obvious.

I still might pull the TB and just clean it out.I doubt it's been done in some time.

Went ahead and removed the TB.Did the bypass while I had it off.

I'll be damned...it runs smoother. The TB wasn't bad but had some thick build-up on the intake side of the housing.Certainly from the stock PCV set-up.
