Does your Vette 'call to you' ?
At work.... " why aren`t you home, detailing me, you know of 2 new scuff marks,must another 24 hours go by without you perfecting me"," how can you live with this, how "?....
Watching T.V...." lets go for another ride, I know you have no where to go, but it`s cool out, I will run, extra fun for you,,,lets go,lets go, grab the keys,circles are cool, gas is down, hurrry I`m still warm ".....
Getting ready to go to bed...." come down and look at me, I`m so sharp looking, you made me so shiny and those crossed/slotted rotors, come look, maybe someone damaged me, come stare, carry trash down in case a neighbor see`s you just standing there, again, come stare, sleep better"......
And this is how I know, the Vette is a GREAT car, and I`m coo-coo and I need to get a GF, (don`t tell my Vette I said that though).

Mine is a daily driver which is learning to endure these Northern winters.(I know, I know, blasphemy...but I & the car are from Florida and it's not in the cards for a new daily driver right now) As a daily driver, I must admit, it sometimes goes a bit longer without a good rubdown than it should. The tires & wheels get a little gubby, and the carpet goes without vacuuming....for a while.
...then, without reason, I will look at it and be consumed with guilt and go through an entire weekend of cleaning and polishing and babying. Fortunately, this happens often enough that the car still looks great despite its use and abuse. It just went through a session this weekend in celebration of my LED fix, and frankly, it looks better than it did when I bought it used a few years ago.
And yeah, the feeling I get when it's all done is great. It's a sexy car, to be sure....and mine's just a "plain Jane" 01 coupe. Having one that has been truly babied and modded must be a real thrill!!

at least yours is polite, mine demands from me all the time and it never seems to be good enough (I think its a female car)...." are you sure you got it, look in the sun, from different angles"...."maybe I need a new owner,,,with power tools"....
Just let me find some strange polish wax all over the hood, it will be SO OVER !

I just came in from fitting a visor clip that I picked up when I was in Vegas. It could quite easily have waited until Saturday but.................... the call was too strong

It's calling me too. I'm on duty and I got a call saying that my leather shift boot, parking brake, etc., from Redline just arrived in the mail. I usually wait for the weekends to take apart the car...but I can't wait...It's calling me now!!

Every morning before breakfast and shower I have to go to the garage and quick detail the entire car. I also dont put her up for the winter just on the bad days. If the snow melts she comes out to play and get a hand bath the next morning.
