04 Coupe with 16,500 miles. The ignition tumbler went bad, replaced under GMPP, zero deductible. Even paid for the towing.

Bought new May '04. Gas cap replaced the first month. Leakey rear end fixed under warranty.

Now with 29,600 miles no other problems. None-Nada-Zip. Great car.

knock on wood, not one single problem. also have mods, also with no issues. mild cam, stock heads with new springs etc, LT headers 342's with an A4 GHL cat back underdrive pully and a few non performance bling bling. 373 rwhp works well for me. I know more can be had but don't hand to get into the stall. Maybe a maggie in the future

2004 Z06

15K miles

No real problems.
  • Gas sending unit sticks but I don't drive it a lot either.
  • Drivers side differential seal leaks a bit but I think that option came with most of the C5's.

Original owner w/ 19k miles. Bought mine bc my Dad had a no issue 97'

Fuel tank and rear diff. leaked, steering recall all covered by stealer. All previously mentioned.

Strange noise from right rear hub, bought some Amsoil to fix that.

Wind from windows, but there is a fix for that as well here on the forum.

Fun reliable car, if your going to let it sit for any amount of time, I would suggest a Battery Tender.
