Default Having any 2004 trouble?

Are the 2004s trouble free for the most part? Hows the 2004s
holding up after 4 years. Anyone have any problems to report
on their 2004s???

My only issue so far is door panel delamination, armrest material pulling away from the panel itself. My mileage is probably less than average about 20,500, but it's a great car.

Also 15k on mine. Noticed the left side rear part of the differential is starting to leak. Common issue from what I'm told, should be able to get it repaired under the extended warranty. Take care of it when I get back home in a couple months. Business trip and car is covered in the garage back home.

'04 Vert 18K 12 of mine this year. Steering Rack leak at the sensor wire potting, water pump, fuel pump, HUD going wacky, diff seals starting to leak, K-Harness went bad, and expansion tank nipple has a crack.

Best TWO cars I own. '02 Z06 and '04 Vert.

4.5 years and 55k miles, no problems. This is truly the best purchase i have ever made. I had been considering trading for a new C6, but i just cant part with this wonderful C5. It feels like this car was made for me!!

04 coupe with 30,000 miles. Constant problem with left rear seal. Six times to the dealer but the leak keeps coming back. Other than that I love the car.

Default 2004 Troubles

Only think i've noticed after 11000 miles in my Z06/Z16 is that the 2008 Z06's seem a little faster.

#1. Gas cap broke. Bought a new one now door doesn't open when I hit the button. I have to push on the door and push the button at same time.
#2 DO NOT TOP OFF! Your fuel guage will go crazy.

And worst thing
#3 Anti freeze leak some where and cannot be located.
I think the car was just having seperation anxiety from its previous owner. But i've been treating her very well and no more problems in a couple of months.

I've had my 04 for 4 years.
Leaky rear end. Prompted me to not ony have rear fixed, but switch to 4.10s.
Passenger side window regulator went bad. Covered under warranty at the time.
Other than that it's been pretty solid.

Purchased my 2004 coupe in July 04 (65,000 miles (Summers Only))
Right Front Wheel Hub replaced under warranty.

Main issue is front wheel alignment. Tire wear is mostly outside left front and inside right front. Going on 3rd set of fronts.
Rear is great (53K on 1st set of rear tires) with even wear.

Other issue was pulsating brakes. Better now with ceramic pads.

Gas cap seems loose even after replacement.

Great Car
