It's been a week since I drove my Z. Took the wife out for dinner and a cruise last Saturday. Everything was great. Started the Z up this morning and while I was backing out or the garage I saw a warning for the ABS, then a warning for the Traction Control, then Service Soon popped up.
Got to work, a 20 minute drive and turn the motor off and restarted no warnings everthing seems fine.
Any help?
Thanks in advance

Its more likely a code 1214 ,a bad EBCM. This what happened to my 2003 z06. The dealer wanted 1400.00 for repair. Good thing I had extended warranty. If you don't have a warranty go to web cite www.abs fixer.com. The unit sales for 150.00 bucks. But before you do this get your codes checked out first. Hope this helps.
I drove my Z twice later in the same day after the warnings popped up. No warnings reappeared, everything was working fine. I haven't had time to pull any codes. I had to make a quick trip to Spain for a week +. Checking for codes is the first thing on the list after I get back.
Thanks for the link.

Same thing happened to my 03Z06, thank god I have extended warranty as well. Took it to them and just told them to fix it. Cost was $1,500 with labour. I like going to a stealership, them fixing stuff and me not paying. So my extended warranty has paid for itslef.
I was plagued with similar issues - when I went to remove the ABS unit to sen to ABS Fixer found the cross-connec multiplug was loose. Cleaned it up and snugged it all down and problems went away.
It may be worth a look at the connectors, as in the end the cheapest out of warranty fix is ABS Fixer and you will need to get down and dirty and remove the unit anyway.
mine started the same way- intermintitfor a few weeks and than lights on all the time. I have yet to send it to absfixer.com , but I will over the winter. Actually makes it more exciting to drive- knowing that imminient disaster is just a push on the gas away! In a way I like having all that girly stuff off by default!

I had this same thing happen to me a several months back, very intermitant issue. Would come up on the display and then clear out. I simply jiggled the connector harness on the ABS module in front of the engine and haven't seen the display come back yet. Mine was probably a connection problem...keeping my finger crossed.
I just got thru with fixing the same problem on my 03. The lights finally just stayed on. I did a forum search and it showed me how to take the module out. Sent it to ABS Fixer and back in a week. Back in and alls well......The only thing to add is to remove the 4 screws holding the radiator shroud and undo the top radiator hose and rope it out of the way. Made access to the module realllll easy.
Finally back from Spain. I ran the code sequence and I had two codes only. C1225 and
U1064. That's it, no other codes came up. I cleared them out. I did have a new set of BFG tires installed before I left for Spain. I went for a drive today after clearing the codes, no warnings or codes came up.
