It's coming down all over. Over here even Diesel is now under 3.00 a gallon....

Enjoy it while it lasts. I just hope people do not start taking it all for granted.

It's just typical with recessions. Prices go down. people are overly pessimistic in economy (opposite of economic expansion when people are overly optimistic about future). oh, the beauty of capitalism

I agree, enjoy it while it lasts.

While it's nice, I'd rather spend the extra thousand dollars on gas and have the tens of thousands back on other parts of finances in general.

under $2 in the Detroit area. I am going to start saving the extra $2 per gallon each time I fill up and see how much I can save!

$2.59 for 93 octane here in western PA. I was thrilled! Found another slip in the console when it was $3.79 for the same thing.
Boy, I hate it when they leave me excited when I'm getting screwed for less money!

That's a great idea!!

When I drop $35 on gas, I'll drop another $35 from the ATM into a shoe box.
When the gas goes up to $3 per gallon, I'll drop in ratio of it being $4 in the same shoe box.

I just found out I'm going to be a father, gotta start saving as much as possible for clothes/etc.

Whooho!!! The oil crisis has been resolved. Now we don't have to worry about increasing domestic oil production to help conteract foreign dependency. I think I'll head out and look for a deal on an Escalade.

OUCH!!!!!!! That hurt! I don't (and won't) want to begin to THINK about how bad it has gone in the past few months!

I'd say "thanks" to some certain government leader, but that would probably get this thread sent elsewhere.

When people drive less (for whatever reason) the price goes down.
It'll start going up again...
