Hey buddy. I read somewhere that they wouldn't(24 led tower). I'll let you know.

I haven't had any trouble with the switchbacks myself. As you know though, I haven't really had the vette out to log any hours though. Guess I'll find out come spring hopefully

Yea.. Ebay here too...

I did the same, clear corners.... Switchback LED's... LED on the side's ... You can't see any yellow in them at all when off, and when they are on with my HID 6000K fog lights and 6000K Low Beams they light up white like yours. I love them !

Nice lights on a very nice Z06!

For us LED newbies...I've seen various vendors offer both regular and blackout versions with LED corner lights. However, I also thought the turn signal portion remains the same with stock lighting. Is that true? If so, the LED portion is the clear lens portion only correct? What about the daytime running lights. Will those be clear or the orange/amber that is currently stock?

Thanks, still learning....

No, you buy the entire lense and simply replace the stocker with the new piece.

The yellow inside is the amber bulb. Replace with chrome/amber, or LED's.

Thanks MSG C5 !

When you get the clear corners you can keep the factory yellow turn signal lights, and the stock yellow Daytime Running Lights (DRL's) if you wish.

I chose to get the 194 LED's for the turn signals. They are white when off, and amber when on. I got them at Auto Zone.

For the DRL's I got the Switchbacks (20 Led Tower II - 3157 plastic wedge base) (http://www.autolumination.com/switchback.html)
They are clear when off, and crystal white when driving with head lights on. They blink White/Yellow when my turn signal is on. They look cool with my 6000K HID headlights, and 6000K HID Foglights. Wish i had a pic to show you ....

I also got this harness because when I installed the Switchbacks because of the hyper flash issue. Its easy to install !
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...per-flash.html

Hope this helps !

That seems to be the case with the chrome, white ones. All the black ones I've seen have an amber reflector in them.

Default Switch Back

So is it the bulb that makes these a switch back or is there some circuitry that is added to do this?

I am trying to decide how I want to do mine.

I have already decided on the clear white corners.

The switchbacks have a circuit in them to do that. Its really cool ! click the factory harness to them (like a normal bulb)... and your done !
I really like how the DRL's are white like my HID's. Its a nice match in color vs the amber DRL's
