In most aftermarket wheels, if they accept the sensors in the stock location they should work just fine. Best bet is to call the vendor and make sure they will work before you order the wheels.

I went to 18/19's a few months ago. No codes or speedo issues.

If you are getting Ruff's from VQ then you will be fine. I have the 18/19 combo and bought new sensors for my car and they went in no problem. VQ does know these questions and if you have any questions about the wheels then you should ask them.

It's more about what rim you are getting though. I looked into some from VQ and either of the Cray designs. I heard though that Cray wheels had problems with the tire sensors not fitting in them which only sealed my choice on the Ruff's even more.

Why so narrow? They aren't even as wide as stock Z06 wheels.
305's work good on a 11'' wheel.

The Ruff's don't come in a wider size unless you get the 20's. They are the stock width of non-Z06 cars though. I would have loved to go wider when I got mine but these wheels were just the right price and I figured what difference would it make? The wheels aren't real race wheels anyway so not like I will need the extra rubber. I did look into getting them widened at first but decided to not bother.

I have Ruff 281 wheels. Black with polished lip. Sizes are front 18/8.5 and rear 19/9.5.
The tires I am using are Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta, front 255/35/18 and rear 295/30/19. So YES you can use 295. A lot of the people that get Ruff's use 295's. A lot of the info you seek would be in other posts about Ruff wheels from VQ. Which wheels are you getting 20vette0107fatboy?

I don't get it!
Most guys want wider, and larger wheels when laying out dough for new ones, but you now want to have bigger rubber on small wheels.

I you want wider rubber, get WIDER wheels! Just a thought!

But hey 'it's your car'...
