Default Help replacing vert "trunk" lid switch

Any advice or secrets to replacing the trunk lid switch for the convertible top? It appears the switch just plugs in but the tabs don't allow for removal of the broken switch. Any help is much appreciated.

Sorry.....I can't answer your question, but if you haven't done so already, you may want to post over in the Tech Forum. Those guys are really great about these kind of issues. Good Luck

Which switch do you mean? Is it the switch that releases the trunk lid to the left of the steering wheel or the one under the tonneau cover that releases the convertible top cover?

I can post up the diagram if I know which one you need.

The switch under the tonneau cover. Oddly enough, "Trunk" is labeled on the switch. Thanks for the help.

Heres the pic from the manual. Looks like you just need a blade screwdriver to pop it out

Hope that helps
