Since my name is Tom I mount my TomTom in the upper left part of the windshield. The thing works most of the time in the house so in a vehicle it prolly makes no difference. I'm scheming on wiring a mini usb wire to the power for the vanity mirror in the visor. I have the pin out diagram for the mini usb and I just have to reduce the 12 volts down to 5 and put the wire in. I hate wires running everywhere so this is my plan.

Thanks for the heads up on the thieves and the round spot. I'll have to wipe it off when I park.
