I'm in the same boat...there was a large perking lot across town in an industrial plant that I used to use, but the place recently closed down and has been shut up. We do have a road racing circuit in town [Portland International Raceway] that has a 100 ft skid pad in one of the parking lots. A driving school operating at the track uses it..I guess I'm going to have to see how much they will charge me for few time around next time I change tire size or springs and anti-roll bars....Cripe, you REALLY need a nice big circle to set up the basic handling....Same is true for a little fun once in a while.
You mean you want to clean the rubber off your tires.before you put it away for the winter. I go to the grave yard early in the morning but please dont wake up the dead

We used to do an annual burnout in our hotel parking lot at Carlisle. Don't do it anymore. Just takes too much tread off (I realize you're buying new tires anyway) and really doesn't do any good to the drivetrain, ie: clutch, tranny and rear end. I get alot more satisfaction out of accelerating through the gears once the car is under way. I'm either getting older or smarter
School parking lot, early on a saturday morning...they are usually empty. Not that I do burnouts there, but when I show up for practice at 7:00am the place looks shut down.
