right front (passenger side) the last screw that attaches the plastic quarter panel has been damaged and broken clean off. the area that was broken off was about 1" by 1". i am not sure of the best way to fix it. i tried jb weld and it worked for a few months before the back side of the screw hole poped. i guess i need to fiberglass it and i do have a piece of carbon fiber. so i guess i can "do it right".
the problem is i have never done anything like this before and need to know how easy it is and maybe get some pointers. the patch is on the underside of the car so i can be messy and it will never show. i have a bondo kit and CF. also some clear plastic sheet like cellophane? i guess that is to keep the glass from sticking to the car body.
to do a tiny little patch do i need to remove the whole body panel or can i patch it on the car?
