Well I traded up... I just picked up a sweet 2003 coupe, anniversary red. 39k. I think I did great 22K. 1 owner super clean. I was watching this car at my local Ford dealer for 6 weeks, the wife and I walked in the dealer and we were the only one there. Its sad, but we got a great deal. I hope its as good a car as 2000 was. When I figure out Photobucket I will put on pics. But at least the avatar is changed.
I'm confused as to why you'd make this switch? The Bowling Green cars were extremely rare, while the anniversary red 03s were definitely not, they made more 03s in that color than any other color. You'll probably regret this in the future. Not that there is anything wrong with the anniversary cars, that color sure is awesome, but it's just that BGM is such a rare and unique color that if I owned it I'd never let it go.
That's where I ordered mine. Also, check out their AE accessories and clothing. I did not know that a BGM vette is rare, better tell dad to hold on to his vert. Don't forget to check your suspension tab if you are experiencing any rough ride. BTW, awesome choice.

Only 1,663 Corvettes were painted BGM in 2000, but there were 11,632 Corvettes painted in the anniversary color in 2003. So a BGM is ten times more rare.

Thanks for all the kudo's, and the info. I agree with the color thing. I was a little torn on trading it because of that. And it really was an great running car too. But I just really fell in love with this one. According to what I've read, the anniversary red is also rare. It sire looks a lot like Magnetic Red. But it's suppose to have more titanium in the paint. In 2000 there were 1,600 BGM made. I'm not sire about the anniversary red.
