It's a daily driver so;

I drive in the rain
I have gone a week without cleaning it
and I don't use no stinking Mobil 1

1. Driven in the rain
2. Eaten in the car
3. Driven through an automatic car wash, but in my defense it was brushless

Default The ten Corvette rules that I break!

1. I DON'T use Zaino or Rejex.
2. I drive it as often as I can during the non winter months, with
no regard to mileage accumulating.
3. I actually ENCOURAGE my wife to drive it to work or wherever.
4. I lean on it.
5. I actually touch it without gloves on or a towel or something else
between my fingers and the paint.
6. At cruises or shows I let kids sit in it while thier friends or parents
take a picture.
7. I never put any kind of a cover/bra on the front.
8. I don't worry when I park it on the street.
9. I bought it new and paid more than anyone on this forum claims
to have.
10. I put Z51 badges on it because I LIKE THEM!!

All of this "abuse" and the car is still unmarked, and VERY well enjoyed!

I drove mine in the snow first year I had it..before I knew that was sinful

I've eaten in my vette plenty of times
Driven in the Rain plenty
Even took it through a part hand wash, part auto car wash once
Hauled all kinds of stuff in the back (coupe) tires, parts, furniture I could fit etc etc.

  1. I have also carried concrete edging from Home Depot. And 2x4's.
  2. I even carried some 10 foot sections of pipe for a plumbing project and only used a washcloth to protect the dash.
  3. I've missed several waves and I've waved at a Camaro but that was accidental, honest!
  4. I almost never take the top off.
  5. I have never complained that the Bose blows.
  6. And, forgive me, I don't have a single performance mod yet but I'll try to do better soon.

There are no rules--just right.

I think this is from an Outback Advertisement.

Get the point-it's your Vette, your rules.

Well I break all of them all the time.

I eat, drink, and smoke in my vette.
I go days without washing it sometimes.
I don't park in the back of the parking lot.
I drive in any condition.
I don't have floor mats.

After all it is a car and it can be cleaned

I have driven - will drive again - in the rain
Eat in car on long trips (snacks, drinks)
Gone over 1 week without washing it
I have parked it outside at work once.
Cleaned/washed it at a coin and spay place while on trips (what choice ya got?)
Rode with the top off in ~30 degree weather - with heater on

Never been in hail, driven through snow though

In my defense though, it NEVER snows here. Especially on Christmas eve. Man what a beautiful Christmas morning it made

I smoke cigars in my vette every time I take it out.
Other than that I am pretty much a nut about the car, may not make sense to alot of you but I love a good cigar driving the vette while smoking a good cigar is pure enjoyment for me.

Mine is a DD-- no "if's and's or but's about it"

I don't eat in it. Don't wanna spill in it or smell it later.

Coffee, sometimes-- when I'm desperate.

One more thing--about the wave... (kidding)
