I've only owned mine for 3 days, so I haven't had time to break any rules yet,but that's going to change in a couple of hours.

It's going to rain today, and I AM going to drive it to work.

It will sit outside in it all day

If it melts, there will be no one to blame but myself....

1. I drive in the rain. - It's a car. This should not be a problem.
2. I have gone a few days without cleaning it. - This should be normal, else it called OCD.
3. I have driven in through hail. - I haven't seen much hail.
4. I have left it outside not in the garage before. - Mine is always outside.
5. Sometimes during lunch I eat in my car. - I try not to eat while driving.

Great to hear you bought a Vette. Enjoy the hell out of it and don't worry about the rain. Mine has seen more rain then the average living here in Florida. This summer we had a flood but luckily the car was far up in the driveway, safe and sound but thoroughly washed by rain water.

--- Never, but I did wave at this really nice Mustang once (being honest sucks)

5. I still have runcraps

--- I do have a T-shirt or two !!!

7. I hauled bags of mulch and fertilizer in the trunk before
--- No way !!

2. I have gone a few days without cleaning it.
--- Yea, it's dirty now, but not too bad

3. I have driven in through hail.
--- Only once by mistake ... it just started hailing and I was just sick

1 I don't use a little feather duster whenever I get out of it.
2 I don't worship it
3 I treat it like what it is, a car. A very cool car but a car none the less.
4 I track it every chance i get
5 It's my daily driver, rain or shine
6 I don't melt when it gets wet

I keep it up religiously, but I do that with all my vehicles.

Forgive me Corvette father for I have sinned! Well just forget it,,not gonna change!! I have, and do all but the hail bit so far!! One of the advantages of a Pewter car!! And yes the wife drives our 6 speed frequently! I am working on getting our garage back in usable condition as I would prefer to get her inside at night. No signs of melting yet!

Default Ten Commandments

Can't believe no one's posted these...

1. NEVER!
2. No way
3. I will wave. If i don't, I just didn't see you
4. Broken that quite often working on it...
5. Haven't broken that one, but dirt-trackin' around corners would be cool
6. Would always help a brother
7. Not a option (unless gas goes to $5/gal again)
8. But I love driving in the rain with glass roof...
9. That would be just silly
10.

Yikes. I am a bad Corvette owner.

I drive it everyday. Rain, snow, sleet, or shine.
It's dirty right now. (although, it's MSG, so it's hard to tell it's dirty.)
My friends have driven it.
It snowed the other day, and I did a donut in the parking lot at work.
I still have run craps.

Although, I do wash it a lot, and it never stays outside at night. When it's clean, it's still 100% mint condition. Not a scratch, chip, or scuff to be found.

I do find it funny though, when it's in the rain, you can tell who the Corvette owners are in the other cars on the road. It's usually the guy at the stop light thats looking at you like you have 3 heads.
