My car is apart getting a new engine. The mechanic found that the prior owner had an oil cooler installed years ago. It mounts on rubber grommets on the bottom but has no top side braces, and has been rubbed by the fan, flattening some of the front. Anybody have an idea on how to best secure the top so this won't happen again?mddpm
You could probably use zip tabs, as long as it dosen't touch the cooling tubes, or you can make a bracket just to hold the finns, useing some hose rubber in between the bracket and the finns to cushin it.
But its knda hard without seeing it to really know what to do.
