Great write up on the link. My car isn't a daily driver so I really don't even notice the road noise when the RPMs are running around 4 to 6 grand

I had the seats out of my car today and decided while I was at it I should add some sound deadening. I went to home depot and bought the diy indulation:

I bought 2 packs which was more than enough to cover the driver and passenger areas and the front half of the trunk (everything in front of the partition and the wheel wells). It was really easy to install, took about 2 hours. I was really impressed by this stuff. It's cheap, easy to install, and works great!

I did the Frost King mod about a year ago, I also added a layer of Reflectix insulation in the cabin area. It does an excellent job of reducing noise, and more importantly, the heat transfer from the Torque tube/Shifter area. The ONLY drawback was that it added approximately 13lbs of weight to the car.
