Default Seat bottom Removal

My 93 had a wire clip that held the seat bottoms in place. How do the bottoms in the C5's come out. 99 FRC

They don't. You have to take the seat out of the car then take it apart. I had a C4 also seats were easyer to work on.

OK, thanks. Yep, the C4's were easy to remove. Got a wear spot on the , of course, drivers seat . The part on all vetts you hit your A** on each time you get into the car.

Yes, the seat comes out, then you remove the cover in order to get to the cushion itself. Hognose pliers and rings are needed to put it together again. I took mine to a shop and it was quick.

Look on the Vette Essentials web site (www.vetteessentials.com) - they have some excellent instructions on how to work on the seats.
