Whats point in having forum if people are gonna be dicks about the question with responses like that? You could word it differently be mentioning that it could be found in the owners manual, he drives a corvette not a geo metro could show some more respect.
Not to mention it's still not real clear about the FRC I looked once and couldn't find it,,It was kinda dark when I looked. Was on my way home, and had had my console out for the HVAC display fix and had to get together quick for an event. In the rush I missed the connection for the button. Couldn't find the release cable, and had to fix the button and return the next day and get gas. Pulled the carpet in the area of the rear drivers side shock hump and couldn't find it in the dim station lights.Even knowing the area to look in doesn't guarantee success!!
If you are referring to the two oval shaped red reflectors on the door - they don't light up, they are just reflectors. When you open the door, the map lights on the mirror, plus the footwell lights and the lights in the trunk should come on. If they are - then everything is functioning normally.
Don't let a couple of people who forgot what it's like to be a newbie scare you off from asking questions.....nice car BTW!
Ok thanks again. The lights did come on and took about 30 or so seconds to go off. I still can't see the fuel door release. It's tough when you get old and had a couple of spine surgeries to twist and look in the back. I may have to hire someone to clean the inside of the rear window. What a P I T A that is to clean.

Drive to Wisconsin, I'll find the fuel release AND clean your back window for you!
