Default Fuel door question

Just bought this 99 FRC. Is there another door release besides the switch in the glove box. If so, where ????

Yes.

There is a pull cable in the trunk, left side.

OK thanks. I cleaned the back yesterday and did not notice a release. I'll look tomorrow if the rain stops.

Probably never got one if he bought the car used. It's certainly no reason not to get one now though...

You can download the manual or refer to the free PDF file that Gene Culley has on his GMPARTSHOUSE website.
He's a site supporting vendor in the column to the left...

Whats point in having forum if people are gonna be dicks about the question with responses like that? You could word it differently be mentioning that it could be found in the owners manual, he drives a corvette not a geo metro could show some more respect.

If no one asked any questions this would be a dull place

Answers are easy if you know where to find them.

Ok, thanks again for the help. The prior owner is , I hope , sending me the owners manual. I also can't get the two lights in the door to go on when the door is open. I'm not sure if it is controlled by the light sensor. My 93 's lights would only work at night. The CCM took care of that. I'll go out tonight and pull off t he cover to see if them work. Only the two lights in the rear veiw mirrow come on .

If you are referring to the two oval shaped red reflectors on the door - they don't light up, they are just reflectors. When you open the door, the map lights on the mirror, plus the footwell lights and the lights in the trunk should come on. If they are - then everything is functioning normally.

Don't let a couple of people who forgot what it's like to be a newbie scare you off from asking questions.....nice car BTW!
