I have Battery Tenders on ALL my vehicle batteries (bikes, cars, lawn tractors). The main difference between the junior and the plus is .75 amps vs 1.25 amps. The junior is okay for bikes, mower, or disconnected car batteries, but I recommend the BT Plus for keeping your C5 charged. It has a fairly heavy computer draw, even in "sleep" mode.

I fueled up, aired up, and parked my ride for the winter. I put a BT Plus on about a week later. I was surprised to see that it showed the red light indicating charging, meaning it was below 80% charge. It doesn't take long for parasitic current draw to bring down a healthy battery.
