wow sounds interesting.. definitely would like one, especially since i wont need my car for about a week in mid-december.. perfect time..

i have a 1998 automatic convertible.. just has a generic dual cone intake.. and a B&B tri-flo cat-back exhaust (i think; it came with the car- forum members tell me its the B&B).. I do use 91 octane, but dont have the lower thermostat (which I can get from you). so what kind of improvement am I looking at? hp wise, performance wise, mpg increase or decrease, etc. thanks!

I am definitely interested. I have a 2000 FRC with Kook's LT Headers, Stingers, and a dual cone intake. I am looking to get an LS6 intake eventually. Should I wait until I get the intake 1st or does it not really matter? What kind of gains can I expect?

Default Gains are far more than horsepower.....

Call me, and I'll make you a great deal on a VARARAM if you do the tune special.

Gains are far more than horsepower.....By now, most of you have seen posts about the Chuck CoW MAIL ORDER TUNE.

It's an *** kicker....93 octane cars can gain between 25 and 30 something HP for C5s (more for C6s and Zs)...91 octane cars will be slightly lower....

The thing I try to impress on people is to NOT go shopping for a tune by WOT HP #'s. That's silly.

While my tunes make great WOT #'s, I also tune them to be VERY safe as the WOT area is where you can get into trouble if you push too hard.

Besides nice WOT gains, what EVERYONE notices is the driveability and THROTTLE RESPONSE. That's what makes a car FUN to drive.

There are many other side benefits like cooler operation, killing the C5 column lock MONSTER for good, eliminating the skip shift, adding a shift light when possible, better A/C compressor control, and if you have an AUTOMATIC, FORGET ABOUT IT! I could go on and on.

If you have an AUTOMATIC vehicle, the performance seems to DOUBLE with my tune.

Don't take my word for it...Look around on this forum..You'll see what I mean.

Call me any time with questions.

STAY TUNED!

Chuck,

A few people have suggested to me that I don't particularly need a tune if all I have done to my car (03 Z06) is add a Vararam. What do you think about this? Your tunes do sound amazing, and I've read a lot about them. But being so close to stock, will I still get a worthwhile improvement?

Don't listen to ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU NOT TO TUNE A STOCK CAR.

That means they have NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.

It really bothers me when I hear garbage like that and unfortunately, the sad part is that the people suffer cause they miss out on a fantastic deal.

YES, You will be VERY happy with my tune and a VARARAM, but even if the car is STOCK...I'll knock your socks off with my tune. GUARANTEED!

Interesting how everyone out there is a TUNING EXPERT!

My 2002 Coupe A4 is my DD, What I do have is another PCM out of a 1999 Vette, Can you reprogram it with my VIN and all that is needed and it be plug and play?
I have a HallTech intake, 160 t-stat, TI exhaust, Can you do your magic on this 1999 PCM for my 2002 Coupe?

If that works, I might just buy a new spare PCM and send that to minimize down time?

Merry Christmas Chuck . I'm very lucky to have Chuck's shop close by. Turning your keys over to a pro really gives you peace of mind. He has made several modifications to my car and with each one there was a noticeable improvement. With 58,000 miles it has never run stronger, nuf said.
