I have those exact ones. Yes it is chrome plated billet aluminum. Excellent quality product with top shelf chrome job. They look great on the car. The sale price listed is better than what I paid. I haven't seen these specific engraved caps from any other vendor. I have bought many items from DJ's and I'm happy with everything. I think Santa is going to be bringing the chrome door strike bezels.
I have looked just about everywhere even the big auction & you will NOT find a better price on quality this good. I have a set (non engraved) that are chrome. These are heavy crome plated caps that go over the top of original caps. Hats off to DJ & the gang for there quality & price.

Dave @ DJ Motorsports has the best quality caps for the lowest price, an unbeatable combination. His customer service is top drawer also. You just can't go wrong!
One interesting note about these though. All of the caps go over the stock caps except the washer fluid cap which is a replacement cap.
A few days after installing the caps I noticed a "leak" of fluid under the car after parking in the garage. I determined that it was washer fluid but couldn't figure out where it was coming from.
The next day I took the C5 for a drive and after parking it I checked and sure enough washer fluid was dripping from under the car. It was then I noticed something really strange. The passenger side washer nozzel was pumping fluid with the car shut off! I watched as it pumped fluid over and over until it eventually stopped on its own.
After a little investigative work I found that on the stock cap there is a small hole drilled into the cap to relieve pressure buildup. The new cap had no hole. So I took a very small drill bit and easily drilled a hole in the center of new cap and that solved the problem. It hasn't done it since.
Apparently pressure built up in the washer tank and forced the fluid through the lines causing the nozzel to squirt fluid until the pressure was relieved.
Maybe it was just a problem with my particular cap but I thought I'd throw this out there to anyone that may have a similar issue.

Mine went on windshield when I got on the gas. No problem after drilled hole.
