MAX HP for stock injectors?

Just as the title says, I am wanting to know when you need to upgrade from the stock injectors to bigger ones?

A tuner should be able to tell you what duty cycle your injectors are running at.

I have seen posts from some tuners that say stock injectors are
good up to 500hp. But, that is maxing them out.

I have 440hp/430tq and mine were at 100% of the duty cycle. The best way to know is have a tuner check.

It also depends how lean/rich you are at WOT. Assuming 12.5-12.8 AFR the stock 28.8lb/hr injectors will be above the recommended 80-85% at about 375rwhp. At 432rwhp I was at 99%-101%, I just replaced the stockers with SVO 30lbs, and now my injectors are at a max of 77%, at 12.7-8 AFR up top.

So 500hp at the crank sounds about right for a completely maxed out 28.8 stock injector.
