I have a new set of the Pfadt adjustable shocks, Pfadt comp sways, and a set of Hypercoil composite leaf springs to install. What do you think the cost on install would be and about how long do you think it would take to do the job?? I'm in SoCal, so if anyone can help??
Obviously I could do that. Just with all the wealth of knowledge on here and all......... One stop shopping. I thought about doing it myself, but I'm afraid to get stuck somewhere. If I don't hear anything, I'll have to make some calls.

It's actually not that hard of a job. If you a search there are threads on the shock removal and replace the sways are real easy. I've never removed the springs but I'm sure there are people here that could help you with that.
Check the 2 threads on the PFADT shock install on John Borgs vette last weekend. Then do a search.
Sways are simple, and the leaf springs look like they would be about the same amount of work. But then again, I've never pulled the leaf springs off, so I don't have 1st hand experience to give ya.
I don't think he is installing coilovers, but it is a good baseline for how hard to get the leaf spring out.
Changing the shocks themselves is so easy a caveman could do it. Never taken the front sway off, but the rear is a piece of cake. You don't have to be a professional mechanic and I have no reason to believe that the front is any different.
I do appreciate any and all the help, that's why I asked. The forum has helped immensely over the years. I'm am very lucky though to live so close to many good shops in SoCal, just figured I might save a little cash for a near future project by doing it myself. Along with my suspension to be installed, a new clutch and if I can afford it, a set of 3.90gears will be going in at the same time as the clutch(near future to be installed by Charlie at RPM). Again, thanks for the help. If any SoCal peeps want to help out, I could cover beer/dinner??
