Just wondering for those of you with the flush rear side markers, where did you purchase them and are they still screwed into place? I tried removed my rear side markers to tint them darker and when I started removing the nuts the whole plastic post they are screwed onto broke off. Seems like because of the age and probably the cold temperature they breakable without much force.
I'm thinking of trying to find some dark flush mounted ones from somewhere or just buy a new set and darken them myself. Any good places to look for these?
I bought some flush mount rear side marker lights that are the color of my car on ebay. No they don't screw on (I never mounted them, they're still in a box in the garage, because you have to cut a larger hole in the body for the light to shine and I don't know if I want to do that) If I remember they stick on with double stick tape. I have a pair of brand new, still in the box rear side marker lights, if you're interested send me a PM.
I love your rear end Blue Smooth lol which sounds kinda weird. I love that C5-R rear end I believe is what it's named...and that flush mount marker looks awesome but I would just like either a tinted dark one for light to shine through or just a complete blackout one. I'll try to find more info on gscreations. Thanks!
Found their website and they seem to have a lot of custom goodies for our vettes but they do seem a little over priced. One thing that did stick out was that they offered the stick on z06 rear brake ducts... but they are asking $350 for them! I picked mine up for $60 and i'm going to install the OEM rear brake ducts this winter for around $250 lol... little off topic but anyways thanks for the info!
I'd rather just delete them entirely and put a body color matching insert in it's place. I don't know if it exists, but I'm sure it would sell well. The Torch Red guys are lucky since the side marker doesn't stick out like a sore thumb as much as other colors.
