Default Do ls1 headers fit ls6?

Will the ls1 headers fit and clear everything on a ls6?

Yes, there are no physical differences of the motors externally nor the engine compartment. The LS6 just has more ponies to start.

does not the LS1 heads( 241) have 4 head bolts and the LS6 heads( 243) have 6 head bolts?

Is that really the case? I have never actually looked, but I thought you could bolt LS6 heads right on to an LS1. I know a ton of the '04 GTO guys were running LS6 heads.

And aren't the air pump valves different from '97 to '99, 2000, and '01 to '04? That might require some consideration and modification...

Reason why im asking is for 500 bucks on ebay you can buy a turbo kit for ls1 that consists of headers and all the piping to run single turbo set up. I would still need to purchase a turbo, wastegate, I/C and piping, but for 500 bucks for the hot parts, its not bad.

Thats for an fbody, will not what so ever on a vette, only the headers, maybe. The rest in made for the fbody.

Other than the World, ERL, and LSX all LS type stock GM block and heads are 4 bolt.



No that kit will not work for a Corvette.

O.K. then all headers are also 6 bolts for all types then. I was answering the head bolt question.
