Default HID Fog Light Problem

Should the metal frame work, of the ballast be grounded.
My HID's (fog lights) work, but they don't seem very bright.
I don't even notice them, when I turn on the stock headlights.
What could the problem be............ (6000K)

Almost plug and play, no ground needed for the ballast.

If you installed 6000 K fogs and don't see a difference at night there is something strange going on.

my fogs from are MUCH better then stockers. I can tell the fogs on on even with the HID lows. You should be able to adjust your fogs to put light out where you can see it well. I would look at your fog adjustments to see if there is something that can be done!

My bet would be that your foglights are aimed too low, they come that way from the factory. Look for hole near them, use a tork screwdriver, think it is a #15.

I agree with other posts, first check to make sure that your fog lights are aimed right. you can see light from them when you are out of the car right? look just to the side of each fog light, there is a small hole and you should be able to see a torx screw inside it. its a T15, turning that will move your fog lights up or down. put your car on a flat surface with less than 1/2 tank of fuel (or compensate for the weight of fuel some) and aim your fog lights at a surface such as a wall or the garage door. turn the torx screw until you see the light come up. they are projector lights and have a sharp cut off, its easy to aim them so they line up properly.

also make sure your fog light lenses are clean and unobstructed. I can tell a slightly yellower look of my projected fog light vs head light because the fog lights aren't protected by headlight doors, they have become slightly pitted and yellowed over the years. not much, but you can see it.
