Default Yellow plug wires?

I find myself doing some very basic mods to my '03 Z06 and I'm planning to put on Millenium Yellow FRCs and would like to match the plug wires to be yellow as well. I haven't found any yet, and I may just go with black instead - but thought I'd check with the Forum before giving up Anyone know of *quality* yellow wires?

Thanks!

The only yellow ones I know are Accel's.

Thanks, Vinny - apparently they don't make a plug wire...and I generally don't think much of Accel.

Taylor makes yellow wires too, not sure for our model Vette though. Jegs has their brand for ours which is their trademark yellow color.

Jeg's brand. Or maybe it's Summit. One or the other. Cheap, and just as good as any other.

Thunder Racing and others sell Taylor cut-to-fit sets you can customize. You need the extra boot set for the LS1 application. They appear to sell yellow wire.

Why spend the extra money for name brand wires? You'll never see a performance difference on a track or a dyno. That leaves only one reason: you're secretly a domestic ricer. Lol!

Hmm . . . strange comment on a car enthusiast forum. Engineers, gear heads and racers have been beautifying their cars, especially the engine bay, as a matter of pride and personalization and just for fun since the first single-cylinder blocks were cast. Also helps to make things easier to see in a busy engine bay. A beautiful, clean engine bay is a sign of a detail-oriented mechanic that properly maintains it and takes pride in a job well done.

Look how the GM powertrain engineers color-matched their spark plug wires on the LS9.

Yeah and thanks for missing the part where i said tat there are yellow jegs wires. So buy them and be done. Looks good plus you'll be smart enough to save a few bucks. Thanks for the strange and unnecessary history lesson though.

I think a little investment, not over the top, in a nice-looking engine compartment is worthwhile - you don't. Thanks for the zero value reply, and welcome to my ignore list

To everyone else, thanks for the links and pointers here and via PM! I'm going to go with a set of MSD black wires as brand is important to me (I've certainly seen the difference with off-brand wires in the GEN I world) and I don't want to make some up (or have them made up) from spool wire.

Thanks!
