I had occasion to use my horn yesterday, as another vehicle was pulling directly into my lane.
The kiddo and I had the music cranked up, and she was sleeping. But the horn woke her...and we thought the other driver was honking back...NOT!!! My horn was on continuous blow.
I hit the horn again, and it went off.
Later, I was in a restaurant, and someone came and got me....it was on continuous blow again...not honking like the alarm...just straight continuous blowing.
Starting the car and hitting the horn only caused it to interrupt the blowing, but it came right back on. I had to put the car in gear and blow the horn to get it to cut off.
It did it again during the night, so I pulled the fuse.
Has anyone had this happen? Any ideas on what might be wrong?
most of the posts I've seen where the horn is blowing , or starts for no good reason have turned out to tbe the swiitch in the steering wheel. Since the airbag is also in there, replacement is not something for the inexperienced.

I was at a friend's home out of town last night...and another friend is a neighbor....waaaaay across the street.....they called and told us it was going off!!! We were in the other end of the house, with the music going, and talking, and didn't hear it.
From your description (removing the fuse) most likely it is the horn 'relay' located in the steering wheel itself.
Suggestion: give EG or Jason a call - offer them some egg nog (liquored up for Jason, plain for EG) and I would be amazed if they couldn't fix this at your house in less than an hour (only serve the egg nog AFTER the work is satisfactorily completed).
