anything over 28" in total height will probably hit your inner fender wells. You'll also have to check for clearance at the front when turning as you may hit the inner front fender well.

my rears are 31" in total height

maroon car very bad azz!!! like thinking out side the box. as Ive stated before, tired of seeing stock vettes waxed at car shows. the corvette didnt get it racing heritage by being left stock. somebody had to think outsied the box and alter a 53 with a v8, then went & kicked some azz, the rest is history! and now we have 650hp+ stock vettes. a big thanks to that 1st guy.

I have to say that me like a lot that maroon vette!!! And the one red spoke wheels is at least cool.
I happen to like the hood too, don't go for the supercharged hoods MHO
BTW,the example of perfect oxymoron is "christian science"... hehe

What size are the tires as I find that hard to believe.

I have a widebody vette with enlarged wheel wells and 28" are tight. The picture above is with 19" 26" total height.

Wow this thread took a mean turn. I too think 22's are too big on the C5 but only because it raises the rear too much and not that its a matter of people saying its ghetto, like old cars are the only one people put 22" wheels on. Any way also what's the issue with 22's in the rear is the 20" front, as the 2" diameter difference makes the rear wheels look out of place. All that being said its just my opinion and someone else's maybe different and that's why we can all choose what works for us. Me I am a 20/20 guy soon to be a 20"/21" guy

That sounds better. Just check your clearance up front if you use wide tires as they will rub on the inner fender well.

I have custome front fender wells. to allow for wider tires.

They are made by Specter Werkes, who no longer is producing them.

You can still try, call them at 248-583-9559. Cost $1,200

Your tires are probably just thin (width) wise to fit. The larger the width the less height you can have.
