Horn Not Working
Any possible spots to check?

Anyways, is it possible you just have a blown relay switch? Check your fuses. Couldn't hurt.
Any possible spots to check?
Any other easy checks I can do before jacking up front end to look at the horn connections and actual horn
Thanks
Check the connector at the horn and the horn contacts. Mine quit working. Found some corrosion in the above areas. Used some fine emory cloth to clean, replugged and they worked. I assume you have the horn setting turned on in the DIC for it to beep when you hit the lock button on the FOB ?

Is the best way to work on the horn under the car? If yes and memory serves me correctly, there is a 'trap door' to view the horn?
Are there two horns on the vette? If yes, do both horns need to be functioning or can just one horn be working in order to emit a sound?
Thanks for help

Heres the replacement procedure from the book:
Document ID# 656925
2002 Chevrolet Corvette

Horn Replacement
Removal Procedure

1. Remove the right front fascia lower closeout panel. Refer to Close Out Panel - Front Bumper Fascia Lower in Bumpers.
2. Disconnect the horn assembly electrical connector.

3. Remove the horn assembly bolt.
4. Remove the horn assembly from the skid bar.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the horn assembly to the skid bar.
Install the aligning tab on the horn assembly into the hole on the skid bar.
Notice
Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
2. Install the horn assembly bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 25 N•m (18 lb ft).
3. Connect the horn assembly electrical connector.
4. Install the right front fascia lower closeout panel. Refer to Close Out Panel - Front Bumper Fascia Lower in Bumpers.

1) Shouldn't at least one of the horns works (either Low or High)?
2) Should I test each horn separately?
3) Can I test by using the car battery or is the a safer/easier way?
Thanks for the input
Anyway in trouble shooting the problem, I got it back to the SIR package on the steering wheel. Pulled the module (this a bear) and could sound the horn from the steering wheel by by-passing the horn switches in the SIR pack. Then "ohmed" out the SIR pack and the swithces were good (thank you, thank you. Saved a bunch of money). Reattached the connectors and everything works.
There is a spring loaded sliding contact in the steering wheel that must have not been contacting well enough. I polished this contact and made a mental note to test the horn at least once a week on my cars from now on.

I followed the power to the horn and the horns didn't work so I removed and tested them. The horns worked. So I traced the ground up to the G102 chassis ground block. I remembered Bill Curlee's sticky at the top and took the plug apart. It was corroded. Cleaned everything up and now the horn works. If you lost both horns and the fuse and relay are okay, I would go for the ground. You can read up at >> http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...tion-long.html . I cleaned the G101 location too.... now it's on to the rest of them before problems arise.
