I'm performing a little surgery on the car, I have the inner door panel out, and I'm looking to pull off the outer door window seal (it's the product shown here: http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...9&dept_id=1512)
There's a screw at the front, which I've removed. Before I go yanking, has anyone removed one of these that could explain briefly so I don't cause damage?
Remove the door panel
Remove the screw from the front of the sealing strip
Slide the strip rearwards
Pull the sealing strip retainers from the holes in the door.
There are slotted holes that go over pegs in the door. Don't pull, the pegs will break off. Slide the strip about 1/4 inch toward the rear and pull straight away from the door. It will come off easily when the larger holes line up with the pegs.

Actually the "pegs" are on the backside of the weatherstrip itself and go into holes which are located in the door. The holes in the door are "keyhole" shaped and like 65GGvert says, when you slide the strip to the rear, the "pegs" on the strip line up with the round part of the "keyhole" shaped hole and the strip will come right out. Easy.
