I have sport seats and 99.9% of the time the passanger seat is unoccupied. With 80,000 miles I am wondering if I can even out the wear between the driver and passanger seat. Are the leather/vinyl sknins of the driver and passanger seat interchangable? I know that the seats aren't.
When the skins are new it does not matter, but once they are installed the skins will have cutouts for the seat adjustments, so they cannot be switched. And I do not think that you can swap the whole seat from left to right either. ( for one thing the controls would be on the wrong side.)

The seats bottoms have a plastic side cover and the control cutouts will be towards the tunnel. The tops have a material insert towards the tunnel, no way.
