Hello newcomer to this great forum and Corvettes. I just bought a 2001 convertible and I have a couple of small problems. The gear on my passenger side headlight continues to run for about 5 seconds after the headlight door closes, will I need to replace the gear or is there an adjustment I can make. Thanks in advance for any help.
Your nylon gear for your headlight motor is chewed up....don't ask me how I know.......
Someone here on the forum should have the link to a gentleman that will supply you a kit with a BRASS GEAR....TOOK CARE OF MY PROBLEM.!!

Good advice
Of interest, I had a motor fail quite early on in my Verts life and it was replaced under warranty. In the meantime, I fitted the T85 (US T84) headlights which are much heavier so they put more strain on the motor. I ordered two brass gears ready to fit thinking it's only a question of time.
