Here is some poetic justice. I worked in a tire store in my early 20s and put a set of wheels and tires on a 79 firebird for a friend of mine. Two months later he found his car sitting just like yours. A few days after they were stolen a kid brought them into my store because he wanted the raised white letters turned to the outside. I started to dismount them and noticed some red overspray on the back sides of them (my friend had had some paint work done on the car right after I put the wheels on) anyhow long story short I had the cops waiting for the kid when he came to pick them up. Called my buddy up to verify what I found and he was there when the punk showed up too. It was great. He was arrested for possesion of stolen property.
they broke my passenger window and got my wheel lock key out of my console and i am guessing they already had it jacked up and the other lugs loosened or off already.
my alarm went off and one my neighbors saw them and called the police.
yes, my insurance is covering it all, so that is a good thing. these are the wheels i had.

Sorry man that blows........... I hope those losers get whats coming to them. If I was your neighbor I would have opened up a can of whoop a$$ instead of calling the police.

Sorry to hear and see that Nick.....Other than the window, was there any other damage done to the car? It looks like they might have let the front down hard.....
Dam that makes me angry. i had my old blazer vandalized twice. Dude if you can up and move and try to get a garage. You shouldn't have to, but its the only way to be safe.
Did the block they used do any damage to the rocker panels?
It might have been better to not have wheel locks...then they would not have broken the window to get the key...
My key is in the back hatch area under the carpet in that little grove beside the middle din. You would have to get into the car, remove the partition, and get the sub box out of the way and then either rip the carpet up or pull it out of the way. Would probably take someone about 2 full minutes to find it and get it.
