Sorry to hear about this. I don't have to worry about people sealing the wheels off my Camaro, I can't even find the lock key myself Not a good thing to misplace
You might consider something like this for your replacement set. My wheels have 20 Gorilla locks - and "NO" they will never find a key inside the car. Find another place to hide the key other than the obvious places or add it to your keychain. ANY Corvette thief will know to look in the rear cargo area as that is the factory location for the key as well. They still may vandalize the car - nothing can stop that, but at least they will "probably" not get your wheels!
thanks Andy i appreciate it. Joe has already helped me out a ton. He let me borrow his Z wheels so that i could drive it to the body shop. i am grateful to no end for his help. he came by with his diesel truck, wheels, a jack, tire iron and lugs.
i am hoping i am back on the road by next friday

that blows, but how long did it take for the LEOs to show up, they probably would have seen the thieves, good luck on your new set of tires, they do that here also, theses thieves are quick
Wonder what there plan B was in the case they didn't get the key with the alarm going off
and 4 lugs away from getting away with it.
YOu get a socket that is about the right size and hammer it onto the lugs. You have to have 4 sockets and a few more minutes, but it can be done. I only konw because I didn't have my lock when i had my tires put on and that what the shop did.
