Your ride looked great, will you put it back the same way or make a change?
Hope you're back on the road soon. On the bright side, you'll get new shoes out of the headache. Are you going to go with the same setup or something different? Perhaps an opportunity to make lemonade out of lemons.
Man I am Really sorry to Hear this! I hope someone Find them. Just so you know, It doesn't matter HOW many LOCKING lug NUTZ you have!! A thief can get them off in a second!
My buddy Lost the Key to his C5's Locking Lug nutz. Gorilla BRAND all his Lugs were Locking, 5 Per Wheel!! I simply took my Sears Lock Lug nut Remover Kit and Cordless Dewalt 18Volt Impact Driver to his house and had all the Lugs Removed (20 of them) in less then 2 minutes. I didn't even have to line up the Lugs and Socket.. Just slammed them on the Lugs.. NO DAMAGE to RIMS either.. IT WAS scary FAST how Fast I got all the LUGS to Come off!!

When you say he had "Gorilla Brand" locks - did he have the Gorilla-Guard Model locks like shown in Post #65? Most Gorilla locks are similar to the locks GM uses and can be removed by pounding an extractor socket over the outer perimeter. The "Gorilla-Guards" however have a hardened steel rotating sheath tightly surrounding the perimeter specifically designed to prevent using such a tool. The local Discount Tire said they had to remove one of these on a wheel where the owner lost his key and it took them an hour with all their tricks and they almost ruined the wheel.

OK, NO they were NOT the gorilla Guard Model, Just the Original Gorilla Locking Wheel Lugs. WOW I bet those are Hard to Get off, But I'm sure someone will figure out how to get those off too..

There is ALWAYS a way. I have even come up with two possible ways myself, but both would take time (and money) and TIME is a thief's worst enemy in most cases. Unless you had some real expensive HRE wheels or something, probably easier to just find another car with no locks or one lock per wheel.
I would say that the Gorilla-Guard outer shields are virtually impossible to get off due to both the material and inter-locked design (at least while installed on the wheel)... so that narrows the options quite a bit. These were developed because regular locks WERE relatively easy to defeat.

Oh, That's just wrong............
Check the local Pawn Shops and area "ricer" shops. Punks/Crackheads aren't smart enough to think you won't go looking for them.
Bet they've been pawned or sold for drugs.
Did you have any locks on the wheels? I know that they can get them of if they REALLY wanted to, but it still serves as a deterant.
Its not easy. It Takes some effort depending on the wheel lock manufcaturer
I personally had Guerilla make an extra set of wheel locks using the original key. I have 2 locks on each of my HRE Wheels. So Good luck to them. If they are willing to go through the grinding effort with the appropriate wrench size on 8 locks then they can have my HRE's
At work I can't see the pics so I'm left up to my imagination.
However this may not have been about the wheels and someone was just that desperate for some tires for their own ride, Lord knows these aren't cheap.
Sorry for your loss, hope you get to upgrade over this.
