Happy New Year. It was a beautiful day today in Texas. I stopped at a stop sign and thought, "Why is my top up ?"
I stopped on the spot and lowered the top of my '01 Pewter. And I wondered, "Do other Corvette convertible owners leave their sun visors up ? Or down ?"
So what's the opinion ? Sun shades up above the windshield, or tucked down against the inside of the glass, obstructing the view somewhat ?
I know it's winter most everywhere else, but it will be summer again someday. Discuss among yourselves.
You are just being mean and rubbing it in today. We are having nasty 38 degree rain today here in Atlanta.

When the temp drops below 20 degrees farenheit- I put the flaps up, its keeps the snot from freezing to my face
My problem is, the left visor isn't tight so when its tucked down under the vibs of the road cause it to slowly fall downward towards the dash. Gets frustrating.
I took it back to dealer under warranty twice to fix it. They installed a new visor each time. Problem never got fixed.

My top won't go down Plenty of room in Louisiana fur ya...
Ya got a super cool avatar
Mine are up when the top is down. Diverts the air over my head a little more. I'm going to try the visor down and tucked to the windshield next time I drive it with the top down. Which should be about April I'm guessin.
My visors are always up. Being 6'2" it's hard enough to see as it is without the visors being down and in my way.
6'5" Rarely use visors in any car. And with the seat all the way back, I'm far enough from them that they don't bother me. Almost put the top down over Christmas - clear and 52*F. Just didn't want to stop driving long enough to do it.
Foggy now, and miserably damp. Time for the Beamer with the heated seats - geezer with arthritis
I envy the folks from the warmer areas (but not enough to have to go to confession over it). Being from Redondo Beach originally, I miss the warm weather and short winters.
