Default My first Corvette!

Finally got my first Corvette for Xmas, a 2004 silver Coupe with 17128 miles on it. I know I will have plenty of dumb questions for you guys as I am a new owner. But first things first, what car care products do you recomend for cleaning the inside and washing and waxing?
Also are there any Corvette clubs in the Phoenix AZ area?
I will post some pics soon.
Thanks
Clive

Welcome and congrats.
I use Zaino products, and at the very least, everyone should have one of these.

Welcome to the fray!! Wow what a Christmas present!!I can kind of relate,I got the OK,go ahead for a C5 on Christmas eve last year! She roasted in our big block C3 on a trip to the Corvette Museum/assembly plant that previous July!!You will find a wealth of information here on the forum,,one suggestion when posting questions(even ones as simple as your car care products)!! Be a little more specific with details, such as in your case how is the care going to be used? are you going to use it ad a daily driver or only a fair weather cruiser? Car shows, cruising, some high performance fun,or trips? Are you kind of **** about the details and appearance or just want to keep her fairly clean and shiny? Here on the forum there are all types that fall loosely into 2 categories! The drivers and "waxers" ! The latter will give you a very different from the first! One will give her a wash ,maybe a clay bar once in a while and a coat of wax every now and then. Others spend all day wash, 5 or 6 coats of polish and a special top coat and find every nook and cranny! One guy Ran an add here in the for sale section that Never drove it in the rain,,washed and waxed every time he drove it and clay barred and polished every month!! Sorry for the long winded response,, just trying to give some examples to get you the kind of answers you are looking for!! Again WELCOME!!!

Default My First Corvette

Thanks for the replys, the car will be a weeekend driver, hope to keep the miles down to around 7000 a year. I would like to keep her very clean and would happily spend 3-4 hours a weekend on that, will check out the links and post pics in a couple of days as I need to get a new chip for the camera.
Thanks again
Clive

Congrats on the Corvette! As far as caring for the paint, I'm a fan of Zaino.

Congrats on the purchase. Many here use Zaino products, but Adam's Polishes and Mequires makes good car care items.
