I have a odd question. I have a set of stock wagon wheels off of my 99vert with the bfgoodwrench tires. Everything is the original stock sizes. A friend of mine wants to buy them for his 84.
Question is will my 99 wheels work on his 84.
If this is the wrong place to ask this just tell me.

Ok thanks. I looked on ecklers and they have some spacers that you use to go from 16" to 17" but i dont know about the back wheels you would need to go to a 18"
Ohh well i guess he is out of luck.
If anyone else has info it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks as always you guys come through for me.
The spacers are not for the diameter, they are for the wheel offset.
In simple terms, the offset is the amount that the tire will "stick in/out" of the wheel well. The larger the offset, the more the wheel will stick in. The smaller the offset, the more it will stick out.
0mm offset is an imaginary plane through the center of the wheel.
When generation changes happen, sometimes the wheel offsets are changed. I have no idea what the offset of a C4 is, but on a C5 the rears are 54mm (someone double check??? going from memory). So if the difference is too much, the tires may rum on the insides of the well, or may stick out too much past the fenders.
I couldnt figure out why he wanted my wagon wheels on his c4 but he did

Because I think they look better on a C4 than they do the C5.I had them a black 86 years ago and loved them.I used one inch spacers on the rears and they fit great.Don't remember where I bought the spacers.
