Had a rotten piece of drywall fall on me one day. My garage is currently a huge mess. I'm done demolishing the insides. Just about to wrap up the electrical. Then it'll be time for drywall, lights, flooring, overhead cabinets, and a new workbench.

Just finished construction on mine and it's waiting to get finished off. We just bought the house and it had a detached 28' x 40'. Unfortunately, it only had 9' to the rafters, which wouldn't allow the use of my lift. I just raised the roof 3' on the back 20'. The walls are insulated and covered with OSB. I plan on drywalling & insulating the ceiling, installing flourescent lights and heat & a/c. Finishing will include the 4 post lift, painting the walls, coating the floor, lots of cabinets, benches, compressor, motorcycle lift and, of course, lots of Corvette decorations.
I should have it finished and ready to go by Spring.

Hey Chip, Where did you get those diamond tread cabinet doors? I LOVE those! I have already informed the wife that the wire shelving is coming down in favor of cabinets that will enclose my bins. I would like to find doors like that.
